Here at Angel Paws, we strive to help as many animals in need as often as we can in Calhoun and surrounding counties. Our goal is to educate people about the overpopulation of animals, the importance of spaying or neutering pets, the dangers they face when not cared for properly and save as many homeless animals as we can along the way. We have increasingly high rates of animals being dumped. We try and place as many as we can into loving forever homes or Northern rescues, but sometimes we have dogs or cats that are simply unadoptable for many different reasons. We have 4 currently who will live out their days with us. Shelters and Rescues are so overpopulated that animals are being bred and then euthanized faster than we can save them. Expensive designer breed dogs are also ending up in kill-shelters across the South. Our dream is to be able to close the doors to every rescue because every dog and cat across the globe finds perfect home, but that goal is out of reach for now.
We have experience with many different breeds and species, but specialize in orphaned puppies and kittens unable to fend for themselves.
